Student response systems, as we have previously used in class, are spreading throughout education. This is a great tool that is being used to get every student involved in class discussion, and it is also being used in some instances rather than paper quizzes.

Great idea of using ipods in the classroom as a learning tool.

Instead of prohibiting the use of iPod's in the classroom, one teacher is actively using the technology and its various apps in her lessons.

This is an interesting court decision regarding the use of social media.  I find the decision that socia media is now considered a part of normal conversation an important line drawn in the sand.  I wonder if this decision was made before the "drunken pirate" issue with the young student teacher being denied her licence if there would have been a change in her ruling. 

With enrollement shooting up of those students that have limited English skills, technology can help to imporve their ability to suceed in school.

A mother in Akron, Ohio lied on documents to send her kids to another school for a "better education." A local judge has charged her with a felony and she may loose the teaching license she has almost attained from the University of Akron.
