 Wondering how those who play the game to learn math concepts, like fractions, feel about math.  Math has often been associated with negative feelings - does learning with a game change that?

Vimeo allows users to upload videos which are accessible from school computers, unlike Youtube videos. If videos are created to be engaging, they are a learner-centered technology.

Comic life is a fun, learner-centered multimedia tool that offers both pictures and text in graphic novel form. Users will see directions for creating a blog as well as pictures that graphically display each step, so that they feel confident that they are following directions correctly.

This website lists tools for the digital storyteller.  While the information on the tools is technology-centered, the use of the tools is learner-centered as seen in the examples of the tools in action.

This site offers suggestions for web tools such as VocabGrabber and tips for integrating multimedia into current tools such as Quizmaker. This could be useful for teachers who are wanting to integrate more multimedia into their classroom.

Like the Khan videos, this site offers videos for lessons for students. Unlike Khan, this site offers videos on all topics including language arts, history, foreign language, art, and more. For teachers who do not have time to create videos, this free source could help them to integrate more multimedia learning into the classroom.

Another tool for creating videos. This is very simple and easy to use. They do charge, but when I contacted them and said I was a teacher, they upgraded my free version to a paid version and did not charge me anything. This gave me the ability to make longer videos and more of them. Easy to share as an embedded file on a website, or through YouTube, and through mobile devices as well.

National Geographic offers complete lessons and units using multimedia activities that are accompanied by handouts and explanations for the lesson outlines.
