Truth be told, pesticides may be present in vegatables and fruits we eat fruit wholesale. They're primarily used through the cultivation of crops and perhaps may remain as residues. Recently many advocacy groups and NGOs conducted random testing on vegatables and fruits and located unacceptably high levels of pesticide residue in them.
