I recently went to a conference (Kelly Gallagher) and he showed these infographics. They can be used for reading activities or in the content areas. What a great visual for students to learn about a topic!

Jing is a great (free) resource to use to make screenshot videos. I used this program when creating videos of myself talking with a powerpoint for a flipped lesson.

For summary activities, I sometimes give students the option to create their own comic strip. Some students choose to pick a different activity because they do not think they are an artist. This would help make everyone feel that they could create their own comic strip summary!

Animoto would be great to use to create visuals for a new topic. I might use this to build background knowledge before reading a non-fiction text.

The free account does not look like it gives you that much. I worry about using too much different types of programs and overwhelming the students.
