National Standards for High School Psychology Curricula - 0 views

  •
I am comparing and contrasting the IB and APA National Standards for High School Curriculum, looking for differences, similarities, and possible overlap. The following is the APA description attached to this URL: "In addition to setting forth learning objectives for high school psychology students, this document provides guidance for teaching based on active learning principles and recommendations for student learning assessment. This document is constructed to guide curriculum decisions by providing content and performance standards to guide teachers in designing instruction."

Improving science literacy in the United States requires strengthening science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education at the middle- and high-school levels. The American psychological association is a site where student can read about a lot of topics, in a very high academic level. For some students this can be quite interesting and a good challenge, but the site contains more easy reading too, and also a lot of links and very good topics, and some huge databases.
