    This website gives a great overview of many of the most important fields, methods, perspectives, psychologists, and studies in Psychology. It is intended for students writing their A-level Psychology, and is thus an excellent introductory website for anyone who is new to Psychology or is refreshing his or her memory.

    I find Simply Psychology for many reasons, not the least of which is that it is accessible language. But it has some studies that are reported in enough detail to be replicated, a reference to the original publication, and links to terrific outside documents which are often the original publication. It takes some clicking around to find studies, but well worth it.

    This site offers a more scientific read. The knowledge is put forth straight forwardly and makes for interesting reading of theories, concepts and scientific inquiry put forth. I use it to encourage psychological vocabulary too.

    This is a great site for finding awesome videos that are teaching tools for Psychology. It even breaks your search up into different fields of study such as "Cognition and Learning" and "Developmental Psychology". You can sort the videos by "Most Video Views," "Newest," "Shortest," etc. One video of interest shows a great cartoon that accompanies ideas about how musicians get great brain workouts! I think this site is full of great learning tools for teachers and students alike.

    I find this resource helpful but I am always a little, oh, I don't know, careful I guess, if I have not read or had access to the original study myself in case there is error. Perhaps I am a bit too conservative, but this is my first year teaching IB Psychology.

The snap shots for the experiments is a great resources for students to understand psychological experiments.     As the name suggests, it simplifies the study of the human brain. Most of the heavy handed jargon that I had to slog through in uni is absent. Seeing as most of my students are not from English speaking countries, this is a great tool to help them understand the basic functions of the brain in an expedient fashion The idea behind this website is that if explained simply enough, anyone can comprehend the complex mechanism that is our brain.
