Jerry Bruger's journal article concerning his replication of Milgram's study in 2008 in conjunction with ABC Primetime. A good discussion of ethics and design.

A great explanation and example of protecting participants well being while replicating Milgram's infamous obedience study. It hits everything you need to know about designing and getting approval for a study and why we do it.

Stanford University's Slideshow of the Belmont Report - 2 views

The Belmont Report can be difficult to get through. Honestly, this slideshow is not very much easier, either. But, it is a briefer and more graphical presentations of the report. The report was commissioned by the US government in 1976 to address concerns in the use of human subjects in biological and behavioral research.

I subscribe to the blog so I get frequent -- daily? -- updates on articles. The articles are short and to the point, so I frequently read them. And they often refer to studies that are appropriate for IA's. They supply links that are useful as well.

Simply Psychology - 14 views

  •
I find Simply Psychology for many reasons, not the least of which is that it is accessible language. But it has some studies that are reported in enough detail to be replicated, a reference to the original publication, and links to terrific outside documents which are often the original publication. It takes some clicking around to find studies, but well worth it.
