Can my students use Diigo if our school computers will not allow them to install diiglolet on their browsers?

Sorry if this is not the place for this.

    (1) teach how to keep tabs open (2) Keep a diigo tab open to copy and paste into using web interface

My kids have to download the diigolet for each page they access. It really inhibits their use, unfortunately :( They like it, but its laborious.

I had the same issue with my school. I agree with Bob's comment. I just had them keep a separate tab or page open with their diigo account logged in and had them copy the urls to bookmark sites and many of them used the note feature to keep track of what they read & to save pictures.

Learning to take notes is a valuable skill and it's bad that it isn't a google feature yet. It is an absolute requirement for online textbooks to take hold in a useful way.

Use Google Chrome. There is a diigo extension for it and my students install it real quick. Works great.
