    The website offers links to various sources of information on the collection and distribution of surveilled data from government agencies in an attempt to inform its readers and covers the paranoia tinted tone of those who find government surveillance in todays society to be too close to "Big Brother" methods and presents an argument for their point of view through the methods of MIT professor Gary Marx. The argument is presented in a series of questions on the ethical stance of what the government surveils, what the surveillance consists of as well as the consequences of any action taken as a result of surveillance and the reality that American citizens never consented to the constant surveillance of their personal lives. The position of inclination towards complacency is concisely summed with a strong amount of surveillance being presented by the double edged statement of "If you haven't done anything wrong, you have nothing to fear.".

    This article is written by an independent journalist who is clearly biased towards supporting the company Tesla. The author writes a scathing critique of someone who unplugged another person's Tesla out of fear of a battery fire or explosion. While the author does have data to back his claims and his critique seems to be well placed, readers should be wary of his flippant attitude concerning the overcharging of electric vehicles.

    I agree with your observation of the clear bias towards partisanship of Tesla's in the article, given that the website host name is "Teslarati". It seems as though this article is more than anything akin to a click-bait feed as its goal is to incite readers to feel frustration and outrage at whomever put the sign on the tesla pictured, although a few decent points are made throughout the article about the positive aspects of Tesla vehicles its difficult to take it seriously as a source of information with the tone of the article being slightly juvenile and the authors Biography being a testament to his endearment for Elon Musk.

This website talks about how there are now fewer kids getting vaccines because of a number of reasons. some of the reasons are that the parents are simply opting out because of fears or paranoia or just laziness. The article says that the reasons that parents use for kids to skip shots vary, some are related to religion.

    The amount of parents refusing vaccination for their children is increasing. Even delaying vaccination for you child is putting them in danger. Parent's are referring to discredited theories as to why they chose to not vaccinate their child.

    Its funny because I was just involved in a conversation the other day about the hpv shot for kids. This parent was asking a group of other parents what they thought about the shot so she could decide whether to get her daughter the shot or not. I think that parents are sadly misinformed about these shots and immunizations. Several parents told her vehemently to not get the shot because their kids had a reaction. I did get the shot for all of my kids and they had no side effects. I think parents forget that there are symptoms because these kids are getting a dose of a live virus in most cases so their immune system learn how to fight it in bigger doses.

    Hi all, I am a parent of three. All of my kids are current on all vaccines recommended by their PCP. I am a true believer. That being said I do think something could be changed for the vaccine requirements. I have spoken to many people about this in my area. I'm actually scared for the un-vaccinated kids so it always sparks curious conversations for me. The common denominator I found with everyone I have spoken to about not vaccinating their kids is, they don't want to vaccinate all at once, they want to spread it out. I feel it's a greater risk to wait or not get a child vaccinated period, but I'm wondering for those who are just not educated on the facts of vaccines or those who are afraid of all of them at once maybe they can have a different vaccine protocol. While it won't be what the CDC recommends initially, I feel that it would still be better than not vaccinating period.

    I agree with my colleagues above, the ignorance about vaccines is becoming widespread. We are in an age of refined medical practices and innovation based on factual evidence and research. Parents in doubt should consider two words. (Herd Immunity) for those unfamiliar with its meaning I'll leave you with its definition - the resistance to the spread of a contagious disease within a population that results if a sufficiently high proportion of individuals are immune to the disease, especially through vaccination. "the level of vaccination needed to achieve herd immunity varies by disease but ranges from 83 to 94 percent" We all have a stake in this.

    This is unfortunate news for us who live in Arizona. I took a look at the site and read in further detail about how much of these things, that are in our daily lives, taken for granted. Spreading the message about this urgent issue is crucial for any type of substantial change to occur. I appreciate this site providing in depth analysis about the issue at hand.     The tone of the article is urgent and presents a fear in the reader by the emboldening of death tolls and seems to be biased. It does come from an organization based on environmental change, however the article does not instruct or offer resources to enact change for the better. Was the point of the article to inform readers with the intention of causing fear or was it to get the reader to look further into their organization.

    Good points. Are you vegan or vegetarian? Most animals have the ability to feel pain. Adolf Hitler stated that prey species such as deer, elk, gazelle, antelopes, etc. are healthier and can run for longer periods of time and promoted healthy eating (though he was a hippocrate and ate meat himself). When people eat meat they get tired easier, need more water, and have less energy. Without a moral foundation one can justify almost anything. Do you think Christian doctrine is to blame? After all, God told Peter to eat meat. Maybe it was the best choice in order to make peace with the gentiles and not eating meet would have made Peter look aloof. Then again, in Genesis it states that God gave mankind plants to eat and not meat. From a convenient point of view is it practical to only buy products that are not made from animals? Even makeup has animal products in it. What about shoes, clothes, purses, etc? Also, if you have time, I would suggest researching Ralph Smart. Have a good day.

    I enjoyed reading this article as well. Animals have very similar traits as humans. They eat, feel, and suffer just as humans do. Why should we strict them of their rights? Just because they do not have a voice to defend themselves does not mean we should ignore the equality they deserve.

    I loved this! Animals have such a huge place in my heart and definitely deserve all the rights as us humans do. I hate hearing stories or seeing videos posted on Facebook of animals being neglected.. I don't understand how some people can do such a thing to an animal who cannot even defend themselves. They just want to be loved and nurtured.

    The article made some great points. Animals do suffer. They feel pain and fear. Because of this, they definitely should be given rights. Like the article stated, I grew up eating meat, but have made the transition into vegetarianism thanks to my wife who is a vegan. All it took was for me to be educated on where our meat is coming from and the conditions of the animals being slaughtered. If people could read these types of articles and watch documentaries like "Earthlings" and "Cowspiracy" I am sure they might also consider vegetarianism or veganism.
