My new blog buddy Jason at JaKelDaily gave me the heads up that I've been nominated as one of the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2007. I'm not working on my acceptance speech just yet. First I have to give credit to Janette Toral over at DigitalFilipino for posting this innovative concept and nominate my competition.

This morning I released a case study video giving an overview of The Google Crush Method. It's a screencam movie of a live conversation. I was in Toronto, my buddy Denis was in London. We used Apple Ichat, and I did a screen capture using IShowU. The challenge was the length. At 14 minutes it was too long for YouTube, and I wanted to keep the quality high without choking the bandwidth on my server. I ended up converting it to streaming flash, and storing it on the new Amazon AWS servers. So in reality I'm using Amazon's massive server banks to provide the bandwidth and store the video.

I'm working on a list of Young, Hot Money Making Blogs. If you have a brand new blog that started April 1st 2007 or later, and it helps people make money online, then I want to hear about it. And so does the world! If you have a Young, Hot Money Making Blog (am I saying that too much, hello keyword density filter?) leave me a comment with your name, blog url, and what makes it hot. I'm compiling a cool resource list to publish next week. This is your chance to get some viral link love for your young blog. If you know someone that should be on this list, go to their blog and get their attention. Tell them to get over here and wave their self-promotion flag.

Let's talk today about continuity marketing. Continuity marketing is when your customer commits to buying a series of items over a period of time. It's a win-win arrangement for the buyer and the seller. Customers can receive products they want on an automatic basis without the hassle of reordering them, and you build a growing list of repeat buyers. Many of us have purchased merchandise this way. Health and beauty products are successfully marketed on an auto-ship basis. Gourmet food items also work well with continuity marketing. Usually, the customer buys the product at a low, introductory price. Unless the customer cancels the agreement, she'll automatically receive new shipments of the product every 4-6 weeks at full cost.
