I am assuming you already know TED for if not then you will be missing out on a huge educational resource . TED has even released just a couple of weeks ago a special video channel just for educators where it started posting awesome videos that you can share with your students. This is called Ted-Ed. Anyway today I am sharing with you some of the most inspirational videos on TED. I highly recommed them for you if you have some free time.As mush as they are inspiring, they are also motivating and helpful in our professional development. The one place to organize, present and share knowledge. Currently, teachers are using Edcanvas for: 1. Lesson planning: Creating lessons and collecting all the resources in one place. 2. Teaching: Presenting the lesson in class. 3. Professional development: Sharing the lesson with other teachers. As this is an alpha, there will be bugs here and there. We're working hard to fix them and adding new stuff every day... and often multiple times a day. So please report any bugs you find and check back regularly.

You each get your own mouse pointer, and you're both always in control. It's designed for collaboration, not just broadcasting your screen. It's like Google Docs for any application on your computer. Screenhero is designed to feel like you're sitting next to the person you're working with - even when you're miles away. It's available for both Mac and Windows. "

Pringles Challenge - 0 views

  •
The idea behind the Pringles Challenge is simple. Your task is to design a package that will allow a single Pringles Potato Chip to be safely mailed through the US Postal Service to another location in the United States. Students will work individually or in small groups to design their packaging. The package must adhere to US Postal Service guidelines and should be shipped during the window listed below, via First Class Mail. Schools will be working with a primary partner in an effort to match up the number of packages shipped/received. The timeline for this year's Pringles Challenge is shared on this site.

"If you've ever complained about the way things are in schools today, now's your chance to stop talking and start acting by participating in the Reinventing School Challenge. The challenge is a program that begins with a simple mission: Encourage life-long learning, promote alternative learning environments and equip learners with 21st Century skills. It takes a fresh and different approach to school reform in the following ways. Inviting the whole community to get involved. Giving the community a framework to collaborate and fashion solutions for their own school communities. Providing a platform to present, share and celebrate what's possible and what really works."
