A soldier gets 24 years behind bars for killing Afghan civilians in a "sport" or "game". Also 5 other soldiers are getting 22 or more years for participating.

I understand that there are certain people who need to be killed, the people who are doing harm to the civilians are in the wrong. The soldiers are there to kill the bad people, not to make a sick game out of killing innocent people.

James has a really good point, here. What if there is a bit more to the story? Was it truly a completely innocent a civilian? (Mmm... maybe I should go in and actually read the story. Jeremy Morlock was sentenced to 24 years in jail Wednesday. He pleaded guilty for killing three Afghan civilians. Morlock was thought to be the leader of the five soldiers who killed the unarmed men.

this is very sad my cousin lives in Joplin with her family and was only about a hundred yards from the home depot that collapsed. there is barely anything left of her house. this is so sad for everyone involved in it.

57-year-old Jacqueline Berghorn came face-to-face with a bear at her home in Center Harbor, New Hampshire. It pushed her down and she hit a glass door. The bear then ran away, right through a fence. Berghorn said it came back and her husband fired two shots at it. I agree with kayleen, the bear must have a motive behind doing this. Black bears arent really that mean of bears. they usually keep to themselves.

It's not unlikely to have bears around our houses and places where we do activities. We just need to be careful in case we do see one to know what to do.
