    Recently the Saudi Ministry of Defense website was cyber attacked via DDoS. Tensions between Iran and Saudi are evident as a back and forth of cyber attacks exchange. The attack is alleged to be a form of protest as Saudi continues its executions of people on charges of terrorism.

    An Israeli soldier shot and killed a Palestinian who was wounded on the ground, which has stirred some commotion among the public. Many people have been expressing their outrage to this happening. Not too long ago another Israeli soldier killed two other Palestinians that were carrying knifes. The violence in this are is never ending.

  • So much of the strife afflicting Europe and the Middle East today has its roots in the Bosnian conflict, yet scant attention has been paid to the country in the years following the war.
  • Up to 100,000 people were killed in the Bosnia conflict between 1992 and 1995 when, following a referendum to secede from Yugoslavia, the country was plunged into an inter-ethnic war between Serbs, Croats and Muslims (or Bosniaks).

    This article looks at the trial of the Bosnia war criminal. He was persecuted and given 40 years in prison after 20 years of being chased and waiting for trial. The Bosnia war has roots of strife which still exist in the Middle East today.

    Muslims around the world have taken to social media to condemn the terrorist attacks in Paris and fight against Islamophobia. Reviving the #NotInMyName hashtag campaign, many Muslims are sending the message that ISIS, the group claiming responsibility for the attacks that killed over 120 people, does not represent Islam.

    Security forces used excessive force to disperse protests early in the year. Nearly 20 people, most of them Morsy supporters, died in clashes with police in the first three days of January. On January 25, the third anniversary of the 2011 uprising, at least 64 demonstrators died in clashes with police in protests throughout the country.
