Good tips to reflect as you prepare/evaluate your online presence in a blended/online course. "The fundamentals that define a great teacher don't differ much whether classes are taught in the online setting or off, but there are certain things that need greater emphasis and gain greater importance when a teacher is working with students who aren't in a traditional classroom setting."

Site presents information that could be used in classes that discuss personal life skills, careers, economics, etc.  "The living wage shown is the hourly rate that an individual must earn to support their family, if they are the sole provider and are working full-time (2080 hours per year). The state minimum wage is the same for all individuals, regardless of how many dependents they may have. The poverty rate is typically quoted as gross annual income. We have converted it to an hourly wage for the sake of comparison."

Good review of Jaycut and the features from someone who has used the app. Another example of how students can leverage powerful tools without having it reside on a local computer/server. 

Annotary is a nice alternative to Diigo & Delicious - simplifies bookmarking, highlighting, and sharing bookmarks. Great place to start for students/teachers just learning how to organize bookmarks using a Web 2.0 tool

Nice collection of forms designed for educators. I like the quiz, Virtual Inbox, HS Document Collector and Viewer, and website collection and presentation form. I haven't looked at all the forms yet, but those stood out for me. 

Google Apps Script for Google Forms and Spreadsheets that allows email merge in them. Simple interface.

Blog post that lists with a description four outstanding resources for educators interested in strengthening their grip on educational technology. 

Teacher Vicki Davis speaks out on how to organize your habits to become more effective - "What are the habits that are going to help me be the kind of person I want to be in this life?" - using "Home Routines" - http://www.homeroutines.com/ - an iPhone/iPad app that helps set up routines to build those habits. Very helpful!

A mind-blowing infographic on Social Media to share with others. Another reason to harness that power in education.

Planet Nutshell produces short animated videos to explain products, services, and concepts. One of their series of videos is all about the Internet and Internet safety for K-12 students. The series is called NetSafe and it has 17 episodes that were produced for the Utah Education Network. The videos are labeled with grade levels so that students in high school don't watch videos designed for K-3 students. (Via Free Tech for Teachers)

10 Points to consider regarding blended learning - the use of online course components in various dimensions in high schools and K-8 schools

Here are some great tools for students and teachers for taking/accessing notes - both on mobile devices and computers. I prefer using Evernote, but if I wasn't using a mobile device, I might consider using Google Docs as my 2nd choice.

Nice tool to create bundles of inks which you can share with others. I also like using Only2Cicks, Sqworl, and Symbaloo.
