This is a bit dense in vocabulary since it's a philosophical piece, but it's very informative about the ways philosophy has suppressed the deaf by having inaccurate assumptions of what the deaf experience is like. The author aims to dispel those assumptions. Requires some mental yoga.

I found this site which talks about the summer and winter deafympics. I had no idea that they had their own olympics to participate in. There are over 4000 athletes from 77 countries that take place in these events. Just like the Olympics, deaflympics changes locations every year.

This is a site for an organization for Deaf Pilots. The members of this organization come from all different parts of the world and are all very different. However, they are brought together because they are Deaf and have a common passion for flying!
