OK, merging two of my favorite tools, Prezi and Twitter. Do a live presentation with twitter embedded right in the presentation. I can't wait to unveil this in my next presentation.

Great twitter like site designed for schools and classrooms. Great for sharing research and backchannel conversations that have research breaks built into them because students and teachers can embed images, videos, and links for sharing. If a school is concerned about twitter and access, this would be a great classroom alternative. 

How to Setup Multiple Twitter Accounts with One Email Address

Use your twitter or facebook feeds to create a newspaper to really maximize your PLN. Paper.li links to posted links, and puts them into categories.  Similar to PostPost for Facebook. Check out this great example: http://paper.li/ITLynda If you have a classroom twitter account this would be a great way of organizing all of the classes  tweets into publishable 'paper'

An idea that can be used to contribute to professional learning or for use with your students- Create a collaborative book online. The topic in this case is another way to explore/discover uses for twitter in education. Learn to take advantage of the things students are doing, teach them how to do things responsibly online, share your content, etc.

Great set of tips for using Twitter more effectively. I really like #3, because it's all about interaction in my opinion. If working with teachers on backchannel conversations/routines, then these tips should help the teachers understand how to support the process more effectively. Thanks Clif for sharing!

Another educational use for twitter. Create a poll, tweet your question, gather your data, explore the data. Could be a social studies tool, a psychology tool, an English tool, a math tool, or science tool. I guess if you analyze the data you receive all the questions would be a math tool.

STill looking to create better understanding of the potential of twitter. This is a way of tracking tweets during a class, by tracking tweets with a particular hash or from a particular set of users.

I don't use twitter this extensively, but if I were, then tweetdeck would be a must. I am going to explore and would love some ideas for why I should use this in my educational learning community? I need the value added. I can track stock quotes through other apps that are more effective, what do I need tweetdeck for?

Create quick screencasts and share via twitter or embed. Quic, easy to use, great way of introducing basic software, functions.
