I don't think so because in a free society, individuals are free people with choices and some choose to not be rational. So we can try to get people to become rational to a point but a whole society can not because everyone is different. I do think there is a totalitarian model existing in the United States when we were raised to follow leaders and our police is totalitarian in a way. I do feel that some information needs to be kept secret like the location of our armies and what our battle plans are. However, keeping secrets that need to be brought up into society needs to be announced because if there are important secrets kept and the public finds out; there are very negative impacts.

I feel there s a lot of indoctrination in the United States but it's not only here, it's everywhere you go in some way. Every fact that is given out is manipulated by the individual who says it, the kind of context that it is in, and how the fact is stated. I myself don't feel indoctrinated at times because I'm kind of used to it, sadly.
Neutral facts are not attainable but there are ways to get close. Like attempting to be non-biased and trying not to manipulate the facts for personal gain. However, it is inevitable to stop the manipulation because giving out facts is like playing telephone. By the time it reaches it's destination, it's not the same anymore.

I feel inducements are beneficial when the people only participate in these behavioral changes just for the inducement. They need to have a interest or desire to want the behavioral change. For instance, the only reason the Payoff Out of Poverty worked was because the inducement just helped the people in poverty get started. The rest was of their desire to leave poverty. While in the TED video, the people just wanted the inducement to have it, not to gain new knowledge or have a passionate desire to solve the problem. So Inducements do not necessarily work because a person's heart is normally not willing to commit to a behavioral change and instead just do it for the payoff in the end.

I believe that Jay-Z should not try to suppress the Game because if he uses his power to humiliate the Game, Jay-Z's population would decrease because they would feel sorry for the Game. Since the Occupy Wall street is going on right now, they would associate themselves more with the Game because Jay-Z is ruthlessly using his power for "bad". So if Jay-Z stays quiet, he will benefit because then people would feel that the Game is just jealous of Jay-Z and is being immature because he isn't as popular. So I feel the Jay-Z should just let the Game destroy himself.

I do believe all of these are important. Imaging a country where they do not have one of these would not be very stabalized. Although I believe culture is very important to a society, I still think it is less important then the others. Culture allows people to still have a sense of who they are and allows people to practice their own beliefs. In any society, people want to feel like they have the freedom to practice thier own culture to make them happy so if you do not have that then revolts will be seen in the future.

In this article, it talks about how susceptible storytelling is in making decisions. Do you feel all decisions are based on a stories persuasion? In a market? In a polis?

When reading this article, it was really unbelieveable about the conditions of the hospitals and how horrible healthcare is in third world countries. It showed how large a spectrum is from a thriving economic society to a undeveloped country.

I remember the day care experiment from another class. I always found it interesting that when you are given a fee of something, your morality goes unharmed since your paying it off.
