Library ID Activation Request Form - 0 views

    Your UCF ID serves as your Library card. Activation of your Library ID number is necessary to check out library materials, view electronic resources off-campus, and utilize Interlibrary Loan. If you are an enrolled student, staff or faculty member of UCF and have never checked out materials at any of the UCF Libraries, please fill out the form below. Circulation staff will activate your ID during regular Library operating hours. If your ID is not activated within 48 hours, or have any other problems or questions, please call (407) 823-2580 or email us at circ@mail.ucf.edu for assistance. If you are having difficulty accessing the electronic databases, please contact Ask-A-Librarian or call (407) 823-2562 (local) or 1-866-271-7589 (toll free).

    Professors have the option of placing materials on reserve for students enrolled in their classes to access. These items are available for checkout at the Reserve Desk, located at the Circulation Font Desk near the Library's main entrance. For media items placed on reserve, a second desk is located on the 3rd floor at the Media Desk.

    A variety of materials can be placed on reserve by a Professor. Circulation Services offers two ways to utilize the reserve function; many items are made available both physically at the library and on the internet via the Course Reserves website. Copyright restrictions prevent all materials from being available electronically.

    The UCF Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Department is committed to supporting the research of UCF faculty members. In addition to interlibrary loan services, we offer a faculty document delivery service which provides scanned copies of UCF-owned journals and books held at the Circulation Desk for quick pickup. Document Delivery requests may be submitted through the ILLiad interlibrary loan system and are automatically requested via interlibrary loan if there is no copy available at the UCF Main Library. If you have a question about a specific request, or need clarification about the following services, please contact our office.
