Good app reviews and troubleshooting.

Paper is a lovely program for the iPad that lets you draw with just your finger. The free version has a limited set of colors and only one pen, but it's very soothing to use. You could use it just to capture comments from your students the way you might use index cards.

Jewish Interactive makes Jewish learning relevant, fun & engaging by blending 21st century digital technology with Jewish traditions and Torah learning. The Educator section allows you to download clip art for many of the Holidays and curriculum areas, provides PowerPoint presentations and additional teaching resources as well as links and blog entries from other educators. Interactive White Board Resources are also available for purchase. Corresponding apps are available in the AppStore.

Each set is a group of trope in a common pattern one would find in the Hebrew bible. They include music notation and audio. Click on a link to launch the lesson in a new window. I came across this list of technology resources almost by accident but found that it added to the apps and resources that we have been exploring. I thought that it was helpful to have them categorized and organized in a way that grouped together applications based on their function, much like we have discussed in our class sessions. This list addresses the level of technology our students are experiencing in their daily lives and allows Jewish Educators to better implement technology in the classroom.
