I enjoyed this article a great deal. I think that it is important for educators to learn more about differentiated instruction. I like how the article said that "teachers need to plan their lessons to adjust to the learners". This is becoming even more true with today's students. The tips list provided has some very good suggestions. One tip that jumped out to me was having student portfolios. This relates to one of my research topics, interactive notebooks.

This article contains an example of an innovative teacher tackling a complex issue in a way students will love and remember. That is, she turned a potentially tedious lesson on copyright and fair use rules into an opportunity for students to create scripts, lines, and act out their understanding of the subject!

So, this article talks about 3 stratgies teachers need in order to have that effective learning environment for students.Having an effective learning environment is key to the success of students while also having that bag of tricks(withitness).Second, it goes into detail what teachers need to give students which is: better planning and also set clear rules and expectations

This is a very insightful article. As a newer instructor, I found these tips both useful and relevant. This will be useful not just for this class, but it will be something I'll rely on in the future.
