This website was created by two elementary teachers; it is very useful site, especially for K-5 elementary teachers. They have also developed a family website and an intermediate website. The site was developed for teachers to find resources for planning and instructional tools and that meet the Common Core. The website offers teachers current and relevant lesson plans and activities in all content areas, including seasonal and classroom management ideas. Lesson plans and activities may have to be adapted and modified for specific grade levels. A blog can be found on the site, written by the creators, that focuses on a specific education topic or resource.

This blog jumped out at me because it was about a teacher trying to implement technology in his classroom. I also thought the title was funny. 

Free Technology for Teachers. The FREE part got me. This blog looks like it tests out new technology for the classroom and generates ideas for its possible uses. 

This is a great website for new teachers, from which they could gain a lot of tips like improving class environment and how to work with parents.

The National Science Teachers Association, which partnered in the creation of the Next Generation Science Standards, has a blog that provides insight into the standards and their adoption.

An awesome website to use a professional connection. Tons of different articles and resources for teachers. This site is a great way to discover new ideas and learn from other professionals.

A nice article that can help to guide learning experiences with social media and communicative software in the classroom. This article lists a lot of important considerations of the how and why we teacher certain concepts in this topic to students.

This blog is written by Vicki Davis on topics related to teaching, education, and technology. She offers instructional tips and ideas for fellow teachers in the classroom.

This website offers information about how elementary teachers can use technology to support literacy, especially digital storytelling, which adds elements of sound, video, and photo images.

Franki and Mary Lee are both teachers, and have been for more than 20 years. Franki is a third grade teacher. How Stuff Works is a great site! They also put out a bunch of podcasts, including the very popular "Stuff You Should Know." I've actually heard of teachers playing these podcasts for students in class.
