    An amazing resource to help guide technology and computer education classes. This site offers an outline for basic areas of learning that students should know. This site suggests "21 things" that students need to know about digital literacy. This would be a great starting point for curriculum along with the ISTE standards. :)

    My son, 4th grade, used this program last year to excel in math far past the rest of his class and, as a parent, I LOVED getting the reports in my email about his progress! Great site!

    My it was great to see my students move through this program last year. I also liked that I could see where each individual student was at daily. They also have certificates that you can print out and give to them as they complete each operation.

    I have used this Jeopardy game creator in the past to create review games before a unit test. The students partner up and play against each other while I get some last minute remediation in with students before the summative assessment. It works for both iPads and computers.

    Until I saw this article I have only ever heard of "hour of code" to teach students about coding. Some of these apps are great suggestions for introducing code and giving them experiences working with it.

    As someone that thinks a basic introduction to programming should be a critical part of computer literacy courses, I think the fact that there are now so many resources for this is great!

    How Stuff Works is a great site! They also put out a bunch of podcasts, including the very popular "Stuff You Should Know." I've actually heard of teachers playing these podcasts for students in class.

    I found this blog last year. I like going to it for ideas for anchor charts in my classroom. I have used the math ones a lot and the students enjoy them as well, especially the factor ninja and multiple monster. They even made their own versions.
