#3 Nicholas Adams on 19 Mar 11Is that market responsible or necessary? We could question just how dangerous a new trend of "whistleblowers" could be. Sometimes, it must be admitted, that to be responsible to citizens and to their safety, the government must keep secrets. The question must result however, who has the authority to make the decisions regarding what can be released, and what good will the released information do to the citizens? Other than increasing transparency, is there really a function of sites like Wikileaks? Just a thought, not saying I have an opinion either way on it.
