1000 things I knew but forgot is my bi line sometimes. A lot of it does have to do with memory retention. But is memory only cerebral??? W do have body memory , emotional memory and spiritual memory. When we truly learn something it becomes integrated on these levels as well. So yes the only thing that matters IS the present moment, that is how we experience life and learning and that is how we absorb-by our senses not being shut down.

I believe its just another way of reducing opinion and openess amongst networks. Its also a very insidious way of saying hey, i am going to know everything about you and control everything that you do...they do it everywhere else in the world why not through social media...

You know from experience that when you enjoy a subject, learning about that subject is easier, more fun, and you retain the information longer. Getting kids to enjoy learning is more productive to education efforts than spending more money, lengthening school days, you name it.
