I'm sure many of you are familiar with this site where people can upload slides for presentations. I chose just one http://www.slideshare.net/irwyn12/using-technology-in-the-language-classroom-presentation equivalent to an article because it focuses on the use of technology in the language classroom. It starts off slow but towards the end adds a lot of information about similar things we have been doing. It is a great site to find other presentations with a searchable index
An free download audio option http://www.winamp.com/ This app is a way of recording both for instructors and students. They have a fee downloadable version or a pro paid version and it works mp3. I have been using it for about 6 years and it has been updated to work with Windows 8 and Mac. It is an easy download and has a toolbar that loos like the old cassette recorders, but it has a line you can drag to re-record a section or go back to correct a mistake. I use it for my phonetics class and teach students how to record because it helps me and them here when they are aspirated consonants that should have no aspiration. It also compresses files, so easy to send through various formats.
I don't know if this will work because it is an app that we have through my university, but I'm going to give it a try and hope it doesn't require you to log in. If it does, let me know and I'll try another app.
