I have been using it for about 6 years and it has been updated to work with Windows 8 and Mac. It is an easy download and has a toolbar that loos like the old cassette recorders, but it has a line you can drag to re-record a section or go back to correct a mistake. I use it for my phonetics class and teach students how to record because it helps me and them here when they are aspirated consonants that should have no aspiration. It also compresses files, so easy to send through various formats.
