R. Stannard provides information on how to set up and manage a course online or flipped, using Edmodo.

You can put a question up on the website and then students reply with their webcam. It's a nice tool for oral language practice, digital storytelling, debates, etc. R. Stannard shows how to use the tool and suggestions for lesson plans. He notes that you will need a fairly fast internet connection.

This quick intro to Quizlet is a good start up for a porgram that lets the user review vocabulary through quizzes and games. R. Stannard suggests using pre-made flashcards, rather than making your own each time. This video links to several more advanced features of Quizlet.

SnagIt is a screen capture technology. Here R. Stannard's short video (14 min.) shows 5 was to use SnagIt in the flipped classroom. SnagIt allows you to record the computer screen and the audio as well, so a presentation can use a variety of resources, such as YouTube or a PowerPoint presentation, with your own description, information, questions, etc. NB: This address is Stannard's YouTube channel, which gives access to many other of his videos.

R. Stannard shows us how to use any video online, and Ted Ed in particular to create and share lessons based on video content. Shows us how to find pre-created lessons on content we want to use, creating lesson questions and discussion, and sharing. Videos are great for listening speaking and forcontent-based language learning, especially has YouTube has a built-in closed captioning system.
