"FEATURED CRAFTSMAN! 2011 Craftsman of the Decade, Louis Chenot Visit Lou's page, which is linked from the Model Engineering Masterpieces section to see superb models featuring a running 1/6 scale 1932 SJ Duesenberg in miniature. Lou was presented with his $2000 award at the NAMES Expo in Detroit April 30th, 2011. He and his wife, June visited the Craftsmanship Museum in Carlsbad, CA on September 2, 2011 to display and discuss the model for local visitors. This is the first time I have heard the radio chatter while the team performs their maneuvers. it is used to alert the team of changes made by the leader in power settings, control stick pressure, and to remind of the next maneuver to be performed as well as the timing of entry and exit. John Burroughs High School in Burbank, Calif. David Vezina had given up a job piloting Learjets to teach kids about aviation. In addition to providing real airplanes to high schools and other interested groups, Build A Plane is working with the National Educational Association, the Wathen Foundation, the FAA, NASA and several key aviation and aerospace organizations to create an aviation-based curricula that teaches science, technology, engineering and math. And for groups that don't have the room or the faculty to construct real aircraft, Build A Plane will soon release a software package and lesson guide that will allow kids to build airplanes virtually.
