Bike Erie

The Department of Career and Technical Education (CTE) needed an employability assessment that was formative, practical and free or low-cost to administer. CTE, in partnership with CWIC, conducted research and found that no existing assessment met all criteria and created a customized assessment tool, focused on the core employability skills most commonly identified in our research.

Through our research-based programs, youth are building relationships, practicing goal persistence, and developing problem-solving and organizational skills. They receive direct time and attention from caring adults, helping kids construct positive self-perceptions. Youth have the opportunity to develop life skills, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors that will contribute to success in relationships, work/school and in community life. We operate year-round and often six days a week with expanded programming during the summer months to meet the needs of kids during summer vacation.

Dutch people very rarely ride with protective clothing or helmets because their streets are the safest in the world for cycling. Their cycle tracks are protected from motor traffic by a kerb (or bollards or parked cars). They're also designed to be wide enough for overtaking (or riding side by side).

Although many big cities are trending to start bike sharing projects, But still most of the cities lack a proper bike sharing platform. in Cyclingboom we have developped a platform which make is possible for cyclists who own spare bikes(no matter how old are they) to share with community and opens the possibility to find a bike to ride i cities without bike sharing plans.

Something new for bicycle security. Basically you pay them to provide a national web registry for your bike and they also provide head badges.
