This is a collection of free, easy-to-read, and accessible books on a wide range of topics. (1000 and growing) Each book can be speech enabled and accessed using multiple interfaces (i.e. switches, alternative keyboards, touch screens, and dedicated AAC devices). The books may be downloaded as slide shows in PowerPoint, Impress, or Flash format.\n\nYou may write your own books using pictures from the huge collection at Flickr or pictures you upload. Some of the books may be inappropriate, so have students select from your favourites.

The Week in Rap provides a weekly summary of current events in a hip-hop music video for teens and students. Sometimes called "Weekend Rap" or "Week and Rap."

Two-page starter-sheets with practical ideas for getting started with web 2.0 apps in the classroom. Format is consistent for all the sheets and learning objectives are indexed to Bloom's Digital Taxonomy. Includes several Google apps, Voicethread, Mindmeister, Mixbook and others.

The teachers at Mountain City have created some great book and novel studies with online questions, printable questions that are easy to convert to Kurzweil format, and suggested activites for each chapter.
