Under motor vehicle act, Government amends it mandatory for manufacturers to fit AC's in the driver's cabin of all new trucks sold from 1 April 2017. In India truck drivers spend long hours in long-distance hauling even in adverse environmental condition like extreme cold or extreme heat, which is quite a tiresome job. But with AC being mandatory in all the trucks, drivers can now take a sigh of some relief along. As "Air-conditioning in trucks is not a comfort or a luxury feature but a feature that can prevent many serious road accidents, while making drivers cover more kilometers with less or no driver fatigue & more comfort & attention on road.

Supreme Court result is finally out, finally BS-III vehicles sale is banned in the country. This Wednesday i.e. 29th March'2017, after the final result from Supreme Court, Auto Stocks fell by 3% as vehicles which are not compliant with BS-IV norms are not to be sold or registered after 1st April'2017. The Automobile industry, which is stuck with the stock of 8.24lakh units of unsold BS-III vehicles, has faced quite a downfall, whereas Passenger Vehicle Manufacturers, who already started manufacturing BS-IV compliant vehicles, will not face quite an impact on them after BS-III vehicle ban.
