This is an interesting post for those of us (er, that'll be me, I guess) in Victoria, Australia. However the rest of this blog is really interesting as well - have a look DSSers!!

I found this resource and thought I should share it because it is a free resource for NYS educators. You can test drive the site before joining. It is a collection of video tutorials and lessons by teachers that cover Pre-k - high school curricula that also allows you to organize and share resources.

While many schools still do not allow cell phones, an iPod Touch bridges that gap. Wifi access provides a tremendous opportunity for students and teachers to browse the web, type a response, record audio or calculate a problem.
