One of the more obvious aspects of Thai Culture are Spirit Houses, San Phra Phum, sometimes known as San Jao Tii that can be seen in the gardens of homes, and outside offices, shops and restaurants all over Thailand

We are very fortunate to have a senior Buddhist Monk in the Thailand province of Chiang Mai who is also a Sak Yant Master. Phra Ajarn Gamtorn has been involved with Sak Yant tattoos for over 17 years and is currently at Wat Nong Khem, a small Temple in San Patong, about 45 minutes from Chiang Mai where he has kindly allowed us to photograph his work on several occasions

Wat Bupparam has one of the largest teak Buddhas in the World. This Thai Buddha, carved 400 years ago, is one of Thailand's most important Buddhas. The Thai Buddha, is in the Montiantham Hall at Wat Bupparam in Chiang Mai, and is the Phra Buddha Nares Sakchai Pairipinas which was carved from a single teak log more than 2 meters in diameter.

One of the earliest Thai Buddhas, is the Thai Buddha, Phra Atchana. This Thai Buddha image was built about 700 years ago and is the large Buddha image located in Wat Si Chum near the ancient city of Sukhothai.

During 11-20 December, 2009, at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Historical Park to celebrate the occasion that the UN World Heritage Committee announced the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Historical Park as a Cultural World Heritage Site.
