The festival of Diwali spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil and hope over despair. During Diwali, people start cleaning, renovate, shop and decorate homes. The excitement in this season and happiness around in the eyes of the people is great to see.

The Qutub Minar stands tall as a testament to India's rich history and architectural prowess. Built in the early 13th century by Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the founder of the Delhi Sultanate, this iconic tower was intended to signify the advent of Islamic rule in India. Originally conceived as a victory tower to celebrate Muslim dominance, it stands at a height of around 73 meters, adorned with intricate carvings and verses from the Quran. Over time, subsequent rulers added to its magnificence, with expansions and embellishments by Iltutmish and Firoz Shah Tughlaq. Despite facing damages from natural calamities and conflicts, the Qutub Minar has endured, recognized today as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a striking symbol of India's historical grandeur.

Wat Bupparam has one of the largest teak Buddhas in the World. This Thai Buddha, carved 400 years ago, is one of Thailand's most important Buddhas. The Thai Buddha, is in the Montiantham Hall at Wat Bupparam in Chiang Mai, and is the Phra Buddha Nares Sakchai Pairipinas which was carved from a single teak log more than 2 meters in diameter.
