India-born Sheetol Chawla, a student at the Auckland University of Technology explores the path of spiritual enlightenment with her new clothing collection titled 'Spiritual Shift' - marked by a specially woven signature fabric and free-flowing silhouettes.

When first gazing upon the finished image, my initial thought was of a large feathery headdress with a Quetzalcoatl style. However, it was more than just a headdress, for a comparable energy up-wells from within the Earth rising into and even infusing the headdress. So with this image I find myself easily imagining a figure in the lotus meditative position through which this energy blossoms from beneath, and fills the headdress.
