This article describes the riots and how the town of Ferguson is reacting to the killing of Michael Brown. This event relates to mobility because the town's population is 67% black, while all leaders of the town are white. There are certain patterns emerging as to how information is being spread and how the public reacts to them.

The area in the red box is about 25,000 square miles, slightly larger than the state of West Virginia. The small red square shows the space required to meet German demand for energy. If only this one small area of land in the desert can power the whole world, why doesn't someone build it? This shows the conflicting interests of world powers and the theme of nature-culture

This article gives a great example showing the differences between the US and Iraqi regions. Also, the IS shows the theme of mobility as it is trying to spread its influence to other areas.

If these separatists want to create a relationship with Russia, why cant they leave Ukraine and be with other Russians in their homeland that supports them?

A few different themes can be picked out in this article depending on how you look at it. Ferguson, Missouri has experienced a great number of shootings and arrests throughout the past few weeks. Why isn't the federal government very involved in this situation?

Israel's bombings in Gaza have been physically, mentally, and emotionally detrimental to the kids exposed to this at young ages, which can lead to poor development for children. If the government of Israel could realize how their attacks impact the people how could Israel and Palestine relieve this conflict? Is it possible for an outside country to help solve this conflict if given authority?

This article is a great example if globalization.  Why is it such an issue that Twitter took down a video that they didn't think was appropriate?

Assisted suicide is in a constant state of debate all around the globe. In Switzerland, the rate of doctors "pulling the plug" on terminally ill patients has doubled in the last five years. Is it really ethical and safe for doctors to decide whether or not a patient has no chance of living and should die?

Certain factors in different regions draw people into the sometimes dangerous profession of journalism and reporting. Why do journalists continue to cover dangerous conflicts around the world when they are aware that they are risking their lives doing so?

Numerous themes can be identified in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. After the area of Crimea was invaded by Russia, several brawls and attacks have ensued. Is the Russian convoy entering Ukraine a sign of compromise or war?

I find it interesting that this article can be related to multiple themes, depending on how you perceive it. This topic and the idea of germ arsenals could be incredibly deadly and has the potential, if used in the future, to obliterate entire groups of people leaving them vulnerable and their homelands verminous.
