I like Louis Gray's take on the new forms of Digital Media ! First I must explain my personal position I was kicked off Friend Feed for posting a Re-blog about Edelman Digital in the Wrong Room no warning one of their employees was complaining about my post's to another employee not to me ! Another from the UK sent me a Tweet saying I was a spammer ! My account was then without addressing the issue to me deleted , this to me is ok I am still alive but this is not a tactfull way of building a business ! Obviously only Geeks who communicate with machines not people are FriendFeeds Market ! Now I am 72 years old and am sure have more business and marketing experience in my little red wagon then the folks at Friend Feed ! They have built an excellent visual application and developed a following but they have and it is obvious no marketing direction ! Understand they have right to pick and acknowledge a client base but to survive their application needs a Universal Appeal us the unwashed not a Snob Appeal ! MarshalSandler.com » Disqus Adds FriendFeed Integration-to Follow Fred Wilson - 0 views

Disqus Adds FriendFeed Integration-to Follow Fred Wilson Author Seth Godin at PDF 2007 Image via Wikipedia Why I follow Fred Wilson ! http://fredwilson.vc/ This article on http://disqus.com/ is written by Mr Wilson A master at Content Creation. Fred Wilson and Seth Godin http://sethgodin.typepad.com/ both have the ability to capsulize. capsulize - put in a short or concise form; reduce in volume; "capsulize the news"! It is a skill mostly prevalent in Poetry. I use Disqus and am currently having this site rebuilt and it is not installed yet ! I miss it but still have access to post with Disqus on other sites ! Mr Wilson an investor in many applications like Glue from Adaptive Blue always states his position in an article, if he is an investor in the Application discloses the fact ! Personally if what he is reviewing is a good product I really don't care who owns it but he is probably right other wise you play "Ok With Corrections!" Mr Wilson's Wife has created a great content platform http://gothamgal.blogs.com/ My wife follows it on Tabbloid a free service from Hewlett Packard tabbloid_2009-01-10_0901-gotham-gal2 I also have her feed in my Gmail -Gotham Gal's blog belongs in a newspaper it a true social media vehicle! I hope find following my reads intersting since I am a a Man Of Good Taste and absorb good content with Gusto ! You can also find me at link below http://msandler.tumblr.com/ MarshalSandler.com is a playground of ideas, introductions, and synergies. Marshal exhibits a blogging style that is less about tamping out his thoughts and more about the juggling, rearranging, juxtaposing, and syndicating of the content of other people and companies - a communications cubism of sorts. There's no room for crap, but there is plenty of room for friendly people with interesting ideas. Marshal's day is the search for new technologies, new ideas, new relationships, and new things to curse happily about. So, participate. Cut bait.

MarshalSandler.com » FriendFeed's Not Dead. While Not Clear, Its Future Coul... - 0 views

  • Monday's news that Facebook had acquired FriendFeed for an undisclosed sum took many people by surprise, not the least of whom were the site's most-active users, many of whom have made the social sharing and aggregation platform their central nervous system for online activity and community. Initial reactions to the announcement had many people asking questions, extremely concerned that the site - as we know it - was doomed to close, and a lack of immediate denials from the company's leadership was seen by many as an implicit acceptance that yes, the end was near. But in the days following, from what I've seen and heard, it is clear to me that FriendFeed is not going away, that the company's being part of Facebook isn't the end of the world, and that after nearly two years of going it alone, the time had come to make a change.

Seth's Blog: Take the ball and go home Image representing Zemanta as depicted in Crun... Image via CrunchBase I sent this to my Tubmlr Theme http://msandler.tumblr.com/ with Posterous this morning . Then more I read this post I decided to do a re-blog with Zemanta When I first decided to reblog a few years ago I always asked permission from the original Content creators. Most people who are professional don't mind giving you permission ! I got Banned from Mahalo and Friend feed , but with Mahalo they extended a lot of courtesy and exlpained their Policy with a personal e mail Friendfeed who has someone in the UK Drowning in Guiness sent me a Tweet On Twitter calling me a spammer ! As you will notice on my site that Techburgh is rebuilding there are no advertisments! At 72 years old I don't not accept apologies or thank you's so i could not tell the Lad in the UK to S@@@ himself ! You can critisize me all day long ! Now I have some great friends who are Teche's and when I need help there are very kind-like Dr Lev Seletor and His Son Alexsy a student at cooper union http://www.selectorweb.com/ Jason Broadwater http://revenflo.com/ Joe Orr http://www.nycircuits.com/ All the Above have done work for me on other projects and are bright and kind ! I also have been reading http://www.avc.com/ I am a great fan of Adaptive Glue that Mr Wilson's firm has a investment in- Glue A great Firefox Add on and a real live Tech Support Crew ! Now lets get back to Seth Godin ! His content creation's are a model for content creation and fact check ! Seth Godin Fred Wilson Frank Elliason Steve Rubel have set the curve ! Mr Elason has brought Tech Support to the Internet by using Twitter as a Vehicle. http://www.eliasonfamily.info/blog/ these are folks who know the three great word in the English Language KIND KIND KIND ! Also My Wife Naomi is a fan of Mr Wilson's Wife Gothan Gal http://gothamgal.blogs.com/ We get our Scrapple from the apple

Making Something From Nothing This may be on of the best post's of the new year ! From Mr Fred Wilson "That's a fundamental difference and we cannot ever lose sight of this fact. Nothing costs nothing. We don't have to pay for our ideas, imagination, and hard work we put into turning nothing into something. Well to be exact, the entrepreneur doesn't have to pay for any of those things. The VC does pay for those things and gets a piece of the ride from nothing to something as a result.!" January 1, 2009 Fred Wilson Add to it this look up article from Dave Winer on helping friend feed http://www.scripting.com/ In one of my reblogs I added some thoughts regarding giving free help to Friendfeed Mr Wilson says it better nothing cost's nothing ! Me below ! "Or better yet have the Executives at Friend Feed follow the folks at Adaptive Blue these people have developed an application for all of us and they will succeed. http://www.adaptiveblue.com/!" curt hensenCheckmate 2.0: A Free Premium WordPress Theme The Perfect Building Block for Your Blog Checkmate has been a very popular WordPress theme with thousands of users worldwide. Now it is has been made even better. I've learned a thing or two from the users of Checkmate, listened to the feature requests and I've decided it is time to release Checkmate 2.0. Checkmate 2.0 is built on the original version of Checkmate, but could almost be considered a completely new theme. The interface has gotten a huge and much needed update. The layout is still simple and clean but now is more polished and modern. Customizing the CSS and the look of theme is even better, the entire site was coded with the end user customizing the site in mind.

  • July 26, 2008 Listening, respect and teamwork Filed under: , — Scripting News @ 5:15 pm Scoble writes about Silicon Valley VC disease. I almost wrote a comment there saying that I've tried many times over many years to get VCs to invest in ideas I had for products, some of which turned out to be quite successful, but I thought better of it. Why single out the VCs, when the problem is much broader. Here's what it is, from my point of view.
