Excellent review of a great free service developed by Hewlett Packard- "TABLOID!" It seems all the Gurus are writing about are Twitter and Friendfeed so what ! This app works from start to finish no tweaking necessary ! It was developed by a Client of Edelman- http://www.edelman.com/ Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P. http://www.tabbloid.com/ I am a Tabbloid User-tabbloid_2009-01-06_0900-11 Website of the Day: Tabbloid | RSS Reader, Tabbloid, Website of the Day | geeksugar - Technology, Gadgets, & How Tos..

curt hensenCheckmate 2.0: A Free Premium WordPress Theme The Perfect Building Block for Your Blog Checkmate has been a very popular WordPress theme with thousands of users worldwide. Now it is has been made even better. I've learned a thing or two from the users of Checkmate, listened to the feature requests and I've decided it is time to release Checkmate 2.0. Checkmate 2.0 is built on the original version of Checkmate, but could almost be considered a completely new theme. The interface has gotten a huge and much needed update. The layout is still simple and clean but now is more polished and modern. Customizing the CSS and the look of theme is even better, the entire site was coded with the end user customizing the site in mind.

  • July 26, 2008 Listening, respect and teamwork Filed under: , — Scripting News @ 5:15 pm Scoble writes about Silicon Valley VC disease. I almost wrote a comment there saying that I've tried many times over many years to get VCs to invest in ideas I had for products, some of which turned out to be quite successful, but I thought better of it. Why single out the VCs, when the problem is much broader. Here's what it is, from my point of view.

Making Something From Nothing This may be on of the best post's of the new year ! From Mr Fred Wilson "That's a fundamental difference and we cannot ever lose sight of this fact. Nothing costs nothing. We don't have to pay for our ideas, imagination, and hard work we put into turning nothing into something. Well to be exact, the entrepreneur doesn't have to pay for any of those things. The VC does pay for those things and gets a piece of the ride from nothing to something as a result.!" January 1, 2009 Fred Wilson Add to it this look up article from Dave Winer on helping friend feed http://www.scripting.com/ In one of my reblogs I added some thoughts regarding giving free help to Friendfeed Mr Wilson says it better nothing cost's nothing ! Me below ! "Or better yet have the Executives at Friend Feed follow the folks at Adaptive Blue these people have developed an application for all of us and they will succeed. http://www.adaptiveblue.com/!" • CBS Is Quietly Building An Internet Radio Powerhouse I’ve had a ringside seat for a number of reasons and it’s been fun to watch the team at CBS Radio quietly putting together a streaming audio powerhouse. Earlier this year, CBS acquired the rights to operate AOL Radio and yesterday they announced that they had done the same with Yahoo!’s internet radio business. Fred Wilson A VC. Image via CrunchBase I don't ever like to see anyone fail, but I suppose success in the Digital Age has created a new set of Rules ! I have found to date a few solid efforts in the application category which I use ! Zemanta Twitter Adaptive Blue Glue Mac Journal and Evernote ! Louis Gray as well as Dave Winer http://www.scripting.com/ both give in my opinion the most honest and astute product reviews ! I feel that the most promising Firefox add on is http://www.adaptiveblue.com/ and Zemanta http://www.zemanta.com/ is a work of Semantic and Technical Art ! I find myself using Nsyght a lot http://www.nsyght.com/ I may not be the average internet user since I am 72 years old with little or no Tech knowledge, if it is not easy to use I don't use it ! I have found to use Twitter I only follow a few people ! Fred Wilson.Vc Louis Gray Dave Winer Chris Brogan Andrew Badera Guy Kawasaki Frank Eliason and Jay Rosen ! I also read Mr Rosen's blog PRESSTHINK One of my Favorite blogs is http://sethgodin.typepad.com/ The Creator Of Squidoo and blogs by people mentioned above ! Micro Blogging is hard for me to use since I live in a world of complete thoughts some times it reminds me of New Age Music no beginning no end just a middle part . Twitter does give me data but I am not overly interested in Social Media or Tech and wish they would create other streams with the application Like A stream for Literature Art etc ! Oh Yes I Follow Steve Ruble and Approve of his Messages-http://www.micropersuasion.com/ MarshalSandler.com is a playground of ideas, introductions, and synergies. Marshal exhibits a blogging style that is less about tamping out his thoughts and more about the juggling, rearranging, juxtaposing, and syndicating of the content of other people and companies - a communications cubism of sorts. There's no room for crap, but there is plenty of room for friendly people with interesting ideas. Marshal's day is the search for new technologies,

Disqus Adds FriendFeed Integration-to Follow Fred Wilson Author Seth Godin at PDF 2007 Image via Wikipedia Why I follow Fred Wilson ! http://fredwilson.vc/ This article on http://disqus.com/ is written by Mr Wilson A master at Content Creation. Fred Wilson and Seth Godin http://sethgodin.typepad.com/ both have the ability to capsulize. capsulize - put in a short or concise form; reduce in volume; "capsulize the news"! It is a skill mostly prevalent in Poetry. I use Disqus and am currently having this site rebuilt and it is not installed yet ! I miss it but still have access to post with Disqus on other sites ! Mr Wilson an investor in many applications like Glue from Adaptive Blue always states his position in an article, if he is an investor in the Application discloses the fact ! Personally if what he is reviewing is a good product I really don't care who owns it but he is probably right other wise you play "Ok With Corrections!" Mr Wilson's Wife has created a great content platform http://gothamgal.blogs.com/ My wife follows it on Tabbloid a free service from Hewlett Packard tabbloid_2009-01-10_0901-gotham-gal2 I also have her feed in my Gmail -Gotham Gal's blog belongs in a newspaper it a true social media vehicle! I hope find following my reads intersting since I am a a Man Of Good Taste and absorb good content with Gusto ! You can also find me at link below http://msandler.tumblr.com/ MarshalSandler.com is a playground of ideas, introductions, and synergies. Marshal's day is the search for new technologies, new ideas, new relationships, and new things to curse happily about. So, participate. Cut bait.
