No matter what side you support, left or right, this I think we can all agree is very empowering. To have women hold this type of platform and women of color at that is a huge step in the right direction for our country.

I don't really care who has what type of role in the government I just care if they are qualified for the job. Someone's gender should not be a reason to be able to perform the job.

I agree with Thomas because in the end all that matters is can they do their job, and can they do it well. The gender, race, and religion should not matter as long as they can do their job right and well.

There is a game called League of Legends that was developed over 2 years ago. This game is gaining massive popularity, primarily because those who succeed enough at this game get payed to play. For example, George Liu, a 23 year old resident of CaliFornia makes over 500 dollars a day to play this game For 6 hours a day, 4-5 days a week. This is not even the highest they pay. Similar to sports, this is a team game. Recently, like all sports, they began to hold a 3 week "season playoff" game in which the winning team would receive 1 million dollars (Split between 5 people), and anyone who made it to the finals, left with at least 5 grand in there pocket, not to mention an all expenses payed trip to 3 locations in which they would host the game play. Sounds like fun right, getting payed to play a game you like? What's not fun, cheating. North America's #1 team was eliminated the first game, by the Korean team. Many claim the game play to be unfair, claims of map hacking, and many other claims of cheating have been made. So, an internationally popular game is taking away prize money which will be donated to charity, but the issues of this are so dramatic. So many opinions have been Formed, that this is getting a little out of hand, over a game.

i think its crazy how much funding there is toward this game. i can understand the riot because people can get passionate about anything, but they're spending a lot just for a single game.

It's a world-wide competitive game. I mean, I see football players making more then these guys are giving away. Alex, the American teams nationality was from the same nation that had beat them.

That's really cool! I would like to ride in one of these! Although I probably won't be able to for quite some time.

Personally, I would not want one, for it to run on detailed maps, and be able to override and read every factor of driving, it would require the internet. Assuming it is using google maps, what if it cannot connect to the internet? That's dangerous. To add, like ever machine, there is going to be an error, and this will probably raise accident rates.

. . . Google in general honestly kind of scares me. Like, yeah, the Chromes and Docs and stuff are beneficial for school things, but they don't have to try to take over the world. (And Payton brought up a good point with the car needing to be connected to the internet to work.) Also, has anyone heard about how Google asks you for your real name instead of allowing you to use a screen name (or something like that)? I remember, I think it was two days ago, that I was going to post a comment on a YouTube video that I had watched with my YouTube account that I've had since 2007, and then Google was all like, "Oh hey want to show your real name instead of your screen name?" and I was like, "Heck no." And there have been times where they purposely log me out of my Google account, and then when I sign back in, they ask for my cell phone number and I click skip because I'm not giving my number to Google. It's for some stupid information loss thing or whatever. But who knows if they're actually protecting your personal information and your privacy?

That is a serious topic for students.. It would personally be uncomfortable for me to write an essay for that.

I feel that the idea behind the assignment wasn't to necessarily portray that the teacher thought, and wanted the class to think, Jewish people as being evil but I feel that it is what ended up happening. The teacher could have picked hundreds of different essay topics ranging from abortion to zero tolerance polices that would have allowed students to write persuasively and not specify any one group in particular.

These pictures are so great, I can feel his passion, love and work he's put into this country. They show so many cool things you didn't think the president did and his warmth for this country and love for his family. Haven't see any pictures like this of any other leaders. I'm impressed.

My favorite picture was Obama was visiting the Sphinx, He wanted to seek a new begging with Muslims and the US, and thats good because not all Muslims are terrorists although many Americans think that.

This women is given a medical drug. When she drive's when she's is still high? So if she is getting medical weed and they make a law stating that you can not be "high" or drugged up before driving. Then why doesn't the government give them transportation, sure buses work if you live in the city, or taxi's. But why should she have to pay when the hospitals are giving it to her.

I believe she should not be driving while under the influence. Even if she is prescribed the drug, there should be warnings and other precautions taken to prevent accidents.

Maybe she should try cocaine I heard that works too.

The death penalty scares me, I have watched movies where they kill people this way and it is cruel. I don't think anyone should be put to death if they are in prison for a crime I think they should do their time. They should sit and rot in prison for the rest of their life, but they are in prison for killing, etc...and then we do the same to them, I don't get it.

I think we need stay out of overseas activities like this. It doesn't matter if we did everything legally, it's still wrong.

i dont think anyone should go on death row i think they should give them a life sentence and be kept alive that way they feel guilty later on about what they've done and little by little they'll start going crazy and eventually try suicide because they wont want to be locked up forever but the cops wont let them hurt themselves so then they'll be getting even more crazy go psycho probably.....its like self torture for them:)

I agree that it is important for threats to be prevented, and I think what they are doing to prevent them may just be what is needed to be done.

I think the steps they are taking are the right way to handle the situation. Everyone should be considered a suspect, you never know who could be behind the threats. The administrators and students safety should be their top priority.

Walter Williams, the Mississippi man who returned to life after being pronounced dead about two weeks ago, died Thursday.

That's crazy. It was good for the family though.

I feel as if maybe the person who pronounced him dead maybe didn't go through all the steps correctly because although I do believe in miracles, I don't know if something like that can really happen. He would have had to be only dead for a very short amount of time. But that's great for the family that got to spend 2 more weeks with him.

Even for a state trooper, it's not easy to spot drivers who are texting. Their smartphones are down on their laps, not at their ears. And they're probably not moving their lips.

It depends on which state you are in, if its a second offense or not. In some states such as New York its a first offense.

If the girls life was in danger or the officers I would see why he would use a tazer but other wise he should of used a different approach.

She was endangering herself and the officer, he used the least harmful weapon he had. He saved that girls life he should not be getting sued. Obviously the parents are blind to their own kids problems, that's what they should be focusing on.

I've gone to Grand Junction a lot as a kid and know people there, so it surprises me to find out that they are discriminating a cancer patient at a school.

(CNN) -- Michael Brown's stepfather says he's sorry for his emotional outburst to demonstrators after learning a police officer wouldn't be indicted in the teen's death. But he says he's unfairly taking heat for the rioting that followed.

The emotional outburst is understandable, but to have such an outburst that it can be threatening, is too far. I'm glad he apologized, but he should of never said those threats in the first place.

I think that is was good to apologize. Everyone does speak out of anger and in this situation I'm sure a lot of people are speaking out of anger. Almost everyone is acting out of anger right now.

Guns shouldn't be sold to the public the maker of the gun should not be sued.

I agree with them with the thinking that such a powerful gun shouldn't be sold to just anyone, a gun like that only has one purpose and it isn't hunting. I don't think its fair to sue the gun company, just because you buy a gun doesn't mean you are going to do what happened on that terrible day. You can make the gun, but there's no evidence showing the maker of the gun influenced the shooter to do what he did.

I believe that there shouldn't be any charges against the officer for the simple fact that he told him to drop the gun multiple times loudly and clearly and was given a good amount of time to do so but then he showed his full body shining the flashlight at the officer probably triggering a fight or flight response in the officer making him pull the trigger

The fact that he had hearing loss was not told to the cops beforehand. The cop was In the right to shout him because he was holding a gun and would not put it down. The officer thought that his life might have been endangered. Although steps could have been taken before shooting a shot at the man, there was also multiple cops at the scene and you can't predict what each cop would have done. none the less they shouldn't be arrested for the mistake of the man. He had more then enof time to put down the gun or see who it was at the door.

I feel like they didn't do anything wrong it sucks that he died but they had to make sure that their life wasn't in danger or the family's lives weren't in danger and he didn't put down the gun so they didn't know if that was the intruder or someone lived there
