Conservative Justice Antonin Scalia routinely pretends that his approach to the law is merely to follow the clear language of the Constitution, and anyone who does not reach the same conclusions he does must be doing it wrong.

Just.... Wow.... How can someone find the constitution so easy? Either, he has spoken to the dead and found out what the founding fathers believe on gay marriage, or he is inserting his own beliefs into this.

Voters retained Justice David Wiggins on the Iowa Supreme Court, following a heated campaign to remove him from the bench. Wiggins, 61, needed a simple majority of votes to stay on high court. With 83 percent of Iowa's 1,689 precincts reported, Wiggins had 54 percent.

Larry King, the celebrated talk show host accustomed to A-list interview guests, has agreed to moderate a debate featuring a squad of minor-party presidential candidates. The former CNN giant will guide next Tuesday's debate in Chicago, which will be broadcast on the Internet. The candidates taking part are the Libertarian Party's Gary Johnson, the Green Party's Jill Stein, the Constitution Party's Virgil Goode and the Justice Party's Rocky Anderson.

This should be interesting, and I'm glad that someone is giving third parties a chance to be heard. As King said, our political system isn't a two party system by law, and I strongly disagree with the two party system. It would be great if third parties could get more recognition.

Its insane how badly the East coast was hit this past week. And no power for up to 9 more days that is going to be difficult seeing as most businesses use all electronics now a days. And this storm is not only going to affect just the east coast but everybody because of all the income the government needs to begin repairing they will raise prices on a lot of things gas being one of the main targets.

Regardless of your political ideology, this editorial has some pretty obvious bias that the author isn't really trying to hide. My favorite is where he implies that criminals and illegal immigrants decided the last election. "Voter rolls have been purged in 2012 of felons and illegals in many states -- particularly Florida and Ohio. Turnout of Democrats will be nothing like 2008.Which brings up another important question. What kind of political party relies on felons and people illegally in the country to win elections?"

This is ridiculous. I think we should set a cap on how much money can be spent running for office, since (in my opinion) a lot of the money that goes into campaigns is wasted. My family has actually received multiple DVDs in the mail from a few different political parties (mostly Republican and Tea Party, I believe). When campaigning gets to the point where parties are paying for movies to be produced - one of them was about how Obama is a Communist - and paying for what is presumably thousands of DVDs to be mailed, something needs to be changed.

It goes to show how close of an election this is. I mean people are very in depth on who are next leader should be if they raised this much money!
