I have watched other things like speeches and looked online. But this post is strictly just about the debate and to me Mitt Romney won. Now, I understand there is no actual winner and I'm not saying you guys are wrong, but going by just this debate, Romney without a doubt won.

Alex, if there is no actual winner than how did he win? that's contradicting yourself. I agree that Romney presented himself better at the debate but outside of the debate I believe Obama has and you believe Romney has we are just going to have to agree to disagree

I agree, people should have to prove that they need help and don't have any other options. Too many people take advantage of the system. I've actually had someone come into the deli where I work and ask if we were hiring, and when I told him I could check, he said he was just asking about jobs so that he could continue receiving unemployment. I think that attitude is way too prevalent in our country.

The idea of people needing government aid is very broad. I can tell you now, everyone who has ever gone to school was on public aide, some more then others. The government aides the school you go to, for every student, they receive appx. $6000 per student. Now, if we as students were not on government aid, I can tell you now I would not be at school. My parents could not afford $6000 a year for me to go to school. Not to mention another $6000 for my brother. The average student that stops at high school is there for anywhere from 13-14 years, that's over $78000 just to get every student a high school diploma, all of which is funded by the government. I know that the average income of a household is 63k a year. Now take that down to 50k from house payments, which most people do not complete until at least 60. Assuming the average household has 2 children, you are now down to 38k. Assuming your parents both have to make car payments, that is 12k a year for the average american. 26k left. The middle lower class is now spend, on average they make 40k, and have about 6k left. Now, what about income taxes, regular taxes, gas money, food, water, electricity, injury, insurance, and other daily expenses. The middle class can barely get by. As for people people not being able to make that kind of money, the middle class is primarily college graduates, with a bachelors degree. You would be surprised as to how many people do not have that. As for, they could have made it happen. I would disagree, some people are simply not smart enough to get EVERY scholarship out there. I know I am not one of those that can. It's not fair when someone has potential, and cannot go to college when someone with half the potential can just because they already have money. The more potential student should receive that aide.

Romney might be projected to win but you never know what's going to happen until it does.... and everyone says Obama is destroying the country but how can you destroy something that has was already in war and destroyed when you got it? it takes a long time for repair and if we keep switching presidents we will never give any of them enough time to fix the U.S

I think that president Obama will win the reelection because all the past presidents have always been reelected if they have not resigned.

Mitt Romney earned huge cheers at a conservative conference in February when he bragged, "On my watch, we fought hard and prevented Massachusetts from becoming the Las Vegas of gay marriage." But in 1994, running for Senate against Ted Kennedy, he told a local gay and lesbian paper he was even more pro-gay rights than Kennedy.

I think Mitt Romney is a hypocrite for sending out mixed messages against and pro gay rights.

Washington (CNN) - If it wasn't already clear that Mitt's Romney and his allies are trying to lower expectations heading into next Wednesday's debate against President Obama in Denver, the campaign is now making it official.

Very good breakdown of each candidate and the issues that they disagree on, money they've spent, etc.

Obama seems to have a lot more support then Romney money wise. I wonder if that is going to have an outcome on the election, or if bigger the more wealthy just support Obama, even though Romney is the one saying not to Tax them. This is very interesting to me.

This was incredibly amusing to me. I would really like to doubt this was his intention (perhaps a terrible spray-tan mishap?), as you would have to think very low of your voters to do so purposely. However, he has also received a lot of flak for seemingly pandering to everyone for votes -- this certainly fits that image.

I really don't think Mitt Romney would do this because he is desperate for votes, I think the election is running a very close race. Again, he is only human, it could have been a bad spray tan or too much sun on his face or maybe someone who who was getting him "camera ready" put the wrong shade of make up on his face. It could be a number of possibilities, and for people to assume that he "dyed his face brown" to get more votes is ridiculous.

The tactics politicians do to get any sort of votes, how desperate.

I love this article. It points out exactly what I've been trying to tell people. Romney never fully answers the question. He has good ideas but never can tell us what will happen and how he will actually do it!

Regardless of your political ideology, this editorial has some pretty obvious bias that the author isn't really trying to hide. My favorite is where he implies that criminals and illegal immigrants decided the last election. "Voter rolls have been purged in 2012 of felons and illegals in many states -- particularly Florida and Ohio. Turnout of Democrats will be nothing like 2008.Which brings up another important question. What kind of political party relies on felons and people illegally in the country to win elections?"

I never heard about the video it is really interesting how Romney tried saying what he said in private wasn't true and what he said in front of millions was what he really means! I THINK NOT!
