Do you guys think he was justified for doing this?

I feel like there were probably better ways to deal with the self defense act rather than going straight to an airstrike. It also makes it a little unsettling that Biden didn't have a conversation about it with other congress members and just did it.

I think he shouldn't have done this and taking this action this early into his presidency shows somewhat of a disregard for some of the morals he touted himself on to even get elected. Even if he had found himself justified in doing this to say taking into account those morals he reached this conclusion to go there so quickly is disingenuos

It's obvious that this man needed to be punished for his actions and no one should be shocked. Watching the video of George Floyds last few minutes was awkward and seemed inhuman and could have easily had been stopped regardless of the struggle he was giving or the drugs he was on, that officer killed him. He spent the last few minutes of a precious life begging for mercy and that was it. So Chauvin is getting the treatment anyone else would get.

It is crazy how some people do not see Chauvin in the wrong. This was complete discrimination against him and this should not have happened. Punishments are necessary for him and he took a life from a family that could never be given back or forgiven, when he could've handled the situation in a more fair, civil way.

I completely agree with this idea. Social media cannot stop the president/ politicians from spreading their ideas and opinions as they shouldn't be able to for anyone else. They should get treated the same and if anything is better for us as people to see what they post and get better/ easier insights on their personal views. We have the right to know our president's views and they have the right to express them. Especially since so many people are on social media it helps educate people better than just reading what the news say that they say.

I dont agree with this becuase it's dumb why would a state be able to control what a private owned company does or doesn't do.

I believe that it is good that the mask law has been lifted a little because Texas and Florida did it first and they have not had any negative results in doing so. What are your thoughts?

I'm glad the mask mandate was lifted and a lot of people weren't really wearing them, to begin with, and a lot of people are getting vaccinated so I think a good step forward and getting closer to normal.

don't really like this idea. It was lifted way too learnly. Most of the people who decided to take off their masks aren't even fully vaccinated. it will be sad when most of them die.

What do you guys think about this? Do you think the FBI should have watched him more to make sure nothing like this would have happened?

I think if someone seems to be a threat to the community we should have a closer look at them and monitor them often whether that means checkups, some sort of surveillance, etc. I think this situation may have been avoided had they been checking up on him more frequently after this incident or had someone done some sort of mental health evaluation as it was obvious to his mother he was planning something.

This new bill is making it easier to cause voter suppression. Making it harder to request an absentee ballot and decreasing the number of ballot boxes will make it harder for people to vote, on top of waiting in a long line in the hot Georgian sun.

I've looked into this bill a lot and at this point, it is Republican Lawmakers trying to get the more densely populated areas of Georiga to not be able to vote as easily. Typically the more heavily populated areas of any state are typically Democratic. So to me and many others, it's pretty easy to see they are trying to suppress Democrat Votes to make it so a Democrat will never win Georiga again.

I dont understand how this is a crime as it's just helping people while they wait, and without food or water it could make people not want to vote.

It's unprofessional for Trump to have such awful sportsmanship towards his opponents and childish of him to make false claims continuously causing unnecessary commotion unless he gets his way.

I think eventually you have to admit you lost. Whether or not he believes the election was rigged there simply isn't enough proof that has been brought forward.

whether you vote for Trump or not I still believe that he should have more sportsmanship because this isn't his first go around. admitting that he lost is definitely a big step because that could mean failure in his eyes and he doesn't want to disappoint people, so I definitely applaud him for standing his ground with his beliefs

Personally, I think this was a good move on Facebook's part. People should not be bombarded with fake news and tons of group recommendations especially around voting times. Those who vote should choose who they see fit to better our country and solve the social problems we have today. Fake news on social media is a problem all around, suspending political group recommendations is the least I think Facebook could do during these times.

I think this is smart because there is a lot of bias going on and a lot of fake news that may make it seem like one side is something that it's not.

she shouldn't even have to apologize for anything like freedom of expression so she has all right to post what ever she wants on twitter isn't that what it was made for to post things your thinking of or your opinion on something

Foolish Payton, Doctor Who has already conclusively proven that all you need to prevent a planet ramming into us is the Doctor and a time lock. Or, alternately, the Doctor and his TARDIS, which can haul the other planet away. Seriously, though, it's extraordinarily sad that people insist on believing this. Something is very wrong when children become sick and suicidal because they believe in the end of the world. For that to happen the parents/guardians must either be encouraging the belief that the world will end, or at least not doing anything to dispel that belief. Very sad.

As far as the Mayan calendar part is concerned, they probably got bored with doing it and wanted to do something else. But I don't remember anyone saying anything about how the Mayans specifically wrote on the calendar, "This is the day the world will end." Also, the day of Doomsday was later changed to sometime in the spring of 2011, or that's when the Rapture was supposed to happen or something. But nothing happened whatsoever. So it's a little surprising to see people still freaking out about how Doomsday is supposedly on December 21st, when nothing happened on that day in 2011. So nothing's going to happen. It's also really sad that some people want to commit suicide because they think the world is going to end.

This is such a bad idea, it only makes people insecure and fear being attacked at any time during their trips. This is dangerous. "Although it was widely reported that the 9/11 hijackers used "boxcutters" in their attack, the weapons were not recovered, and investigators believe other types of knives were used" so how can people be sure that this kind of thing won't happen again?

I don't understand what the big deal is, anyone can be killed from anything. You could kill someone with one of the pillows provided to you or even construct a weapon from parts of a dismantled pair of headphones. Whether they're permitting this stuff or not, it shouldn't make you feel less safe. People carry this stuff all the time just around your neighborhood, but you still "think" you're safe. If there's a will, there's a way, modern day Murder McGyvers.

i think this is a good thing because the knifes they are letting you bring on are not that big they are just small littel knifes people carry to open stuff. i dont think anyone would be able to hurt many people with a small knife like that. everyday people carry bigger knives than the knifes they are allowing

There has to be something wrong with this kid. If you read the story and hear what he said to the court and to the families of the victims he shot, you'll understand. It is scary that someone could be so awful.

People like this don't do well in Prisons. He'll most likely have a very rough life where he's going, especially after what he has said. He'll "get what is coming for him" and I honestly feel no pity, even though I do believe he should be charged as an adult. This is disgusting. I would not have been able to rest easy if I were in that court knowing the guy is in jail after what he had done, let alone what he had said, he deserves way worse than what he got. He obviously took pleasure in killing those innocent students. Good luck in prison, mate, because you are certainly going to need it if you don't want to end up as cold as those concrete walls you'll be surrounded by. Either that or he'll end up as Big Jerry's finger puppet.

The death sentence would be an easy way out for him. Spending your entire life rotting away in jail having your actions hung over your head is a much better punishment in my opinion. Not to mention, killing someone else will not bring your loved ones back or make you feel better, at least it shouldn't anyway. I read a story about a woman's 6 year old daughter who had been kidnapped and murdered,but she did not wish to have the man killed, because she said, "How do I honor Susie and Susie's life and the goodness and sweetness and beauty of who she was? To kill somebody in her name would be an insult to her memory." I'm not saying anyone is wrong, I just think life sentence without parole is a better option.

I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. We are talking about the preamble in government and what our nation should do to form a more perfect union, but yet some stranger for no parent reason goes and shoots little kids at a ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. What a perfect union we have.

This is very tragic to hear and many people are dealing with the losses of the children or relatives. Sometimes it make me wonder why we have an amendment the right to bear arms if things like this are happening. These were innocent kids with a bright future ahead. It was very devastating for everyone around the U.S to know things like this are happening in our society.

This is a really short article, but from the little information that's stated I think the case is unfair. I don't think the daughter should be charged with manslaughter if he suffered from a heart attack.

No one plans on having a heart attack when they get into a fight with their parent. So she shouldn't be charged with manslaughter involuntary or not.

I don't think she should be charged. She did not kill him, his body died out on its own. It may have got his heart rate going but its just a freak accident. Its not like she wanted to kill her dad. Although she shouldn't have been fighting him.

Personally, I support the right to die movement.

I think people should have the right, it's there life.

Very interesting. I believe that if the patient is terminally ill, and has the ability to consciously decide if they want to die, then it is really their choice and no one else's.

The legality of this is interesting. I would assume that I do have some right to privacy upon getting online, but I also know that I am on something anyone can view at almost any time. So I would have to ask myself a few things if I were to determine the legality of this. 1. Is facebook public even if you have privacy settings? 2. Do privacy settings give you a right to privacy online 3. Is there an assumption of risk for posting anything online? This is interesting to me, I mean, I assume that I have a right to what I text a friend to be a private conversation between my friend and myself. I also know that every text I send, a copy is sent to be stored somewhere, somehow, and can be accessed by someone with legal authority.

Hope worded this perfectly, I couldn't have done better myself. People need to be more aware of how permanent and public the internet is. Think twice before posting online. Try to brainstorm all the possible consequences of what you are posting.

Donald Trump promises some crazy ideas, such as the wall. I don't believe that Trump will ever be able to accomplish that, he MIGHT be able to improve border control, but he cant build a wall.

I agree with Deven because anybody could've come up with that idea. Everybody who is on Trump's side thinks it's a good idea because trump came up with it, but if Hilary were to come up with this idea, those people would think it's stupid. Anybody could've come up with that. There are better ideas and all he thought of was a wall.

I think any president makes promises they can't keep, but that's part of getting elected. At least other presidents have made realistic promises, but I think Trump's promises during his campaign were just fabricated lies to get people to vote for him. How dull can voters be if they think this man would actually build a giant wall between America and Mexico and make them pay for it?

I still think that Trump will win Indiana even if it is only Cruz and him going head to head. I think whatever states that Kasich and Trump go head to head over will be won by Trump. There is a part of me that thinks that this is not a very great idea but there is a not much else they can do. Trump is gaining votes quickly.
