    National Geographic has a tremendous resource for schools called the Giant Traveling Maps! Mrs. Yollis' school had the Africa map this year. National Geographic maps may be borrowed to use! This is incredible! I love this lady!

  • What happens if you are cyberbullied? What should you do? Cyberbullying is when someone contacts you online or includes online content about you that is mean, threatening, or hurtful.  Always tell a trusted adult. 1. Ignore it. Don't respond.2. Save the evidence (text message, IM, Facebook page, etc.). Take a screenshot, if possible.3. Tell a trusted adult: your parent, a teacher, etc.4. If necessary, contact the administrators of the site or contact the authorities.

    Register your class for FREE!  Students can contribute to one project. Boom Writer provides a "starter chapter: for a story and students continue the story by writing additional chapters. Teachers can oversee each student's writing, comment, and edit. When all students have written their contributions the class reads the submissions and votes. The names of the writers aren't revealed until after the voting.
