    Collecting-
I think you have done a good job communicating your ideas using Google Sites, I find this application more difficult to use than Wix or Google Classroom. I think objects can tell significant stories about who we are as a culture or as an individual. You may be interested in one of my favorite books; "How To Be An Explorer of the World." By Keri Smith. (Google her, she has a fantastic website.)She invites the reader to become aware of their environment by becoming a collector and explore their surroundings. I really enjoyed how you used a video that most people would be familiar with; Ariel and her beloved fork. I like how she transforms the item into different use… transformation might be another Big Idea you layer in this lesson. I'm unsure how the eyewitness video fits in.
Perhaps before you start talking about collecting, you talk about objects . An object tells a story, a collection of objects might mean something else. For a beginning activity, I would suggest mind mapping an object . Place an object at each table and ask students to write down their associations with this object and share out to the class. Place some of the objects together and see how it changes their feelings about it. This is a great way to show the diverse ideas students may have about particular objects.

Around the World in 80 minutes-
As a reader to your site I love the graphics, however the wordiness of it is overwhelming, and could be troublesome for a 7th grader. Can you simplify this? It appears the links in the intro is not working! " Does a city influence its art or does art influence its city?" What a great thought provoking question! The street art map is interactive and works well with your Big Idea. Since you are asking students to visit different countries around the world, you could also address the different cultural expectations art may have in certain places.

    Self-Exploration-
Explores identity and individuality within stereotypes. I am having a difficult time reading your words, since they are light, make them darker so they can be read easier. I really enjoy the images and the opening activity. It is collaborative and insightful. I'm sure students will have a lot to say about the video!

    Memory-
I enjoy how you take the viewer on your memories on your "about" page. You explore your memories at the museum, growing up with dogs, and taking studio classes. You'r home page is inviting, I like the many different interpretations of "memory" but to encourage more collaboration and interactivity I would ask the student's to do the same thing, but use an online application like padlet.com.

    Water-
I really enjoy Prezis, but I'm not sure if this is the best application for it. Could you build a webquest on another site and take only part of the information and put it into a Prezi? You can link your Prezi to your website so you don't lose that fun interactive mode.
