The Freedom of Information Center from the University of Missouri is a great resource to help understand some of the laws that protect you as a journalist. Depending on what state or country you are in, you can see what rights you have.
I like that they have biographies of numerous people on here, really helpful if you need more information on a person or just want to double check your facts
This website provides numerous tools to help journalists make sure they get the facts right. I really liked this website because it had almost every resource I could think of in one spot.
Different tabs at the top allow you to find all different kinds of information. Data tab is particularly useful as it can present the data information and three different ways, and also tells you where the data is from, so you can find out if the facts come from a legitimate source.
I am very interested in science journalism so this is a great resource for anyone writing a science article. This free online course from the World Federation of Science Journalists offers tips for not only writing and editing science stories but tips for using social media, photo and video on science stories as well.
