Other studies have furhtered the impac of sigtma in maths. Females who were exposed to their "inability" in math, prior to performing an un-related test, performed lower on average. Whilst Asian women who were told how "Asians who were good at math & science" performed on average much better with theis type of positive priming, than they did with negative priming in un-related tests. Wow ;-)

mmm, could this not be applied also to website communications? - why focus on text? - it's like appealing to one type of learner. Sometimes, even with the clever use of words, there is enough room for interpretation. Video gives a more accurate range of tonality and emotion!
  •
that's why I keep on insisting on tapping into the under-used video to be part of your comms ;-D pester power ;-)

Discover his theories about ich-Du (I-you) and ich-es (I-it). When we become the target of true empathy, we 'feel felt' - the other person knows how we feel, and so we feel known. It is a sense of communion. This is as opposed to I-it, when we have no emotional empathy for the other person.

Stanford Social Innovation Review : Articles : How Nonprofits Get Really Big (April 2, ... - 0 views

  • How Nonprofits Get Really BigSince 1970, more than 200,000 nonprofits have opened in the U.S., but only 144 of them have reached $50 million in annual revenue. Most of the members of this elite group got big by doing two things. They raised the bulk of their money from a single type of funder such as corporations or government – and not, as conventional wisdom would recommend, by going after diverse sources of funding. Just as importantly, these nonprofits created professional organizations that were tailored to the needs of their primary funding sources
