"Second phase of increasing third sector public service delivery 09/11/2009 The second phase of the government's National Programme for Third Sector Commissioning has started. It aims to "increase the awareness and understanding of how utilising the third sector's specialist knowledge will benefit the delivery of public services", increasing third sector involvement throughout the commissioning cycle and improve bidding practice."

DWP volunteer brokerage scheme pays charities to provide volunteering opportunities for jobseekers., opened last week, a DWP spokeswoman said it would provide £8m. Final dates have been delayed and there is no current info on the DWP website as of 14/04/09 - may change later on.

I think CLP should go, go, go for more government funding!

If you can tweak your offer to get govt. funding and you can find it, then go for it ;-)

This programme aims to support aspirting leaders in the third sector. The programme is funded, and personalsed. Applications for the 2010 fellowships now open - deadline for applications 30th June 2009.
