Hi Priya, I can't offer any input on Articulate Storyline. I tend to use Adobe Captivate for developing eLearning. However, I encourage you to focus on defining the message you want to communicate first and then experiment with the features offered by the tool to discover the best way to communicate that message. Have fun!
Thanks for the good info Thomas! There are so many innovative tools to incorporate in eLearning! The downside is that with the fast pace of so many environments, there never seems to be enough time to incorporate new features. Curriculum developers often find their hands tied by the demands, and therefore just keep churning out what can be quickly produced. Not to mention, educators who may not even have the support of curriculum developers. If only we all had more time to be creative!
Hi Lilly, I would think a person with this degree would consider jobs in Curriculum Development, Technical Training, Technical Writers, and Media Center Coordinators, just to name a few! With the increase in online instruction, in the future there should be increased opportunities supporting fully online instruction in both secondary and higher education.
