As instructional designers, we discover new designer tools just about daily! This group is intended to allow us to collaborate on a handy resource to be readily accessible as needed.

I think that it is important that you referred to these resources as readily accessible as needed. For instance, I like JING when I know that I will need a presentation that is 5 minutes or less. I also like JING for screenshots that can be labeled with texts and other objects.
But, I know that JING is not readily uploaded to You Tube.
I am hoping that members of this group will share the benefits and limitations of these tools. Perhaps there is no such thing as the best tool for all jobs. There is just the best tool that you know of at the time for a particular job.
Want to know more about Camtasia for making screencasts. Is anybody using it? What are the benefits and limitations?
