Its goal was to discover how teachers were incorporating the presidential election coverage into their classes, or if they did so at all. Some teachers failed to include any current events into the classroom because it would not be tested on at the end of the year graduation tests. They focused on issues and subjects the students needed in order to pass and graduate.

This article discusses the importance of internationalization of Curriculum and and its role in preparing students for a global and multicultural society. With recent events it is even more pressing that Americans today have an understanding of peoples of different cultures. Motlow State Community College (MSCC) recognizes this topic of discussion and survey's show that in its courses only 6% of its courses contain significant international content. International education especially at the college level has taken on a new importance. This article argues that despite the student's major, they should be exposed to multicultural education and this knowledge which will enhance a student's success in the global environment of the future.

Web. 20 November 2010. Primary school teachers have had to endure a great many changes in the profession over the last decade. Since the advent of the National Curriculum - the most significant change of all - there have been further alterations to the teaching programme. The first was a revision of the National Curriculum itself, followed by the election of a new Government, which rapidly introduced another major change: the prescriptive teaching of literacy and numeracy. To accommodate this, primary schools have had to juggle to maintain a broad and balanced Curriculum of foundation subjects.

This article discusses how hospitals are trying to put programs together to help those children that are long term patience with the learning process. Many children are posing disabilities that need to be confronted before they are put back into a regular classroom. The article goes on to talk about that teachers need to empower parents and hospital staffs to come up with innovative ways to teacher children the curriculum that they should be learning. Children with learning disabilities are popping up more frequently and we need to take action as a society to address those issues at an early age.

An environment that makes the students feel safe will assist in much better results. The site then goes on to list other categories of interest such as curriculum and approaches to take. Lastly, it talks about the importance of teacher commitment and not giving up on the students.

Community College Journal of Research & Practice; Aug2009, Vol. 33 Issue 8, p611-614, 4p Still in view of international education, this article looks at how the education being received by the students here, although thought to be globalized, is actually really only nationalized. They did a survey of the Curriculum's of various schools which have a strong international student base and found this to be true. All in all it proves its point that the notion of an international education actually most times does not do much in the way of preparing the students for an international or global education.

Over a ten year span the Chicago city schools have received new principles, teachers, and curriculum. Preparing students for college starts in grade school, in preparing for high school. There have been multiple reconstructions including a yearly test and weekly lessons in preparation for that test. This helps students prepare for the riger and high level of education for the students' future.\n

This article discusses the various positive effects of art to the student. It shows how it contributes to being an individual. This includes academic achievement and emotional development. It analyzes factors that are contributing to a lack of the arts in education. It discusses why this is a problem and how new initiatives are working against it.

In this, Schneider explores how the internet is affecting gifted students in how they find resources that their libraries just can't possibly contain. Within the last decade the internet has become a major tool and curriculum are being changed to go along with it. The ones that are excelling are the students that can process large amounts of information quickly and relatively accurately.

In this was described a plan for technology to be integrated into a school system. The plan was to give a school access to technology through their curriculum. The school systems wanted to make sure doing this would benefit everyone. Technology is proven to affect people, but negatively or positively is what they wanted to find out.

It goes through recent history looking at things that have impacted the amount of influence of the arts. The influence of budget cuts is one issue discussed. Budget cuts lead to art teachers and programs being cut. In general the authors try to emphasize the benefits of the arts to individuals. They use a quote from Bill Gates at the beginning to start off the article and enforce this point.
